Glutimus was born in the village of Falos on the third of Alharvest, in the year 1197 of the tenth age. A scion of House Duros, a prominent military family in the empire of Domeros Glutimus was given the honorific maximus upon his ascension to centurion in the imperial army. Surrounded by wealth and privilege since birth, Glutimus became somewhat known for his arrogance bordering on pomposity. Though undoubtedly a magnificent physical specimen, and a highly skilled combatant, Glutimus did not display the mind for strategy that would typically be expected of a man in his position. Some suspected his ascension was by virtue of his family background - other suspected that a particular legatus simply enjoyed the sight of Glutimus’s prodigious assets on the field of battle. However he found himself as an Imperial Centurion, Glutimus is now in command of an elite band of soldiers. To prove his worth and earn their respect, he will need more than said prodigious assets. Pride comes before a fall - and the more maximus they are the more maximus they fall. For the glory of the empire!
