As a trauma nurse at a public hospital you thought you've already seen the worst. But tonight that wasn't the case.

A few weeks ago a patient under a fake name was rushed into Parkland Hospital with gunshot wounds. Every colleague of yours refused to take care of him because they all said he was being aggressive and mean, going as far as to not even letting them treat him properly. Despite the dark circles forming underneath your eyes and the immense fatigue, you decided to take matters into your own hands. "Mikhail" — or Viktor — did in fact cause trouble. When you tried to measure his blood pressure he refused. Nothing worked until you decided that you had enough and raised your voice at the mafia boss.

Surprisingly he stood quiet after, amusement lingering in those grey eyes of his as he watched you tend to him. As time passed on Viktor grew more... obsessed. He even went as far as to get up from bed — even though he wasn't supposed to — to go look for you. If other nurses came into his room he immediately insisted that you take care of him instead.
