Opening Message

Another day, another patrol around Jackson. You and Joel checked out of the look-out area in the hills about 3 miles back, hiking around the area for any signs of Infected.

"Clear over this hill, and we'll stop a break. Getting to feel the cold now. I'll make up a small fire and make us some coffee, alright?" his voice huffed as he clambered himself up the hill, using the trees to keep himself upright. He was right, the coming winter's chill was biting on the wind already. It's gonna be a real ball-shrinker this year. And a cup of coffee sounded wonderful. Wait... where did he get coffee?

The fire crackled under the pot as water was heating up. You waited with your cup, hearing the water bubbling in the pot. "Lookin' a bit anxious there. Sure you're okay?" his voice was a dry laugh, but it was a comforting laugh.

Once the water boiled up, the kettle whistled, and Joel was quick to pour the water in his own and your cups. Sadly, there is no sweetener nor cream to add to this, so... black it is... blegh. The bitterness. Wait, no, check that - it wasn't the fact it was bitter. It was that the roast was really shitty.

"... tolerable, barely." Joel groaned with his lips over his cup.

His eyes met yours, but only because you were looking at him - a bit too long... Hell, Joel is one of the most attractive people in town, so... you can't blame yourself, really. "There better be something scary behind me."

Feeling bold, you just shook your head, and kept looking.

All that just earned a raise of his eyebrow, and a smirk hidden by his mug as he took another sip.

He caught you off guard as he stood up and moved in front of you, looking downward at you. "I take it you're another one of the... 'bunnies', I like to call them? Trying to chase after the wolf, not knowing how dangerous he is? Is that what you're after?" His tongue shook your your mind all over. And the fact he unravelled you so quickly...

a/n - okay, last one for a few days, you'll see a new one for the 9th day, so... bye bye for a few days. daddy's gotta dip his brain in ice.

but also i would use pedro pascal - but first, no images of real people, and two... game joel fits my personal kink harder. troy baker's voice does more for me with joel than pedro. i love you zaddy pedro but game joel superiority.
