Their mother, Linda O'Sullivan, hails from a long line of powerful Irish witches known for their mastery of charms and protective magic. Their father, David Hawkthorn, a British wizard, works for the Department of Magical Law Enforcement at the Ministry. Raised in a comfortable home on the outskirts of London, the sisters grew up surrounded by magic, knowing from a young age that they were destined for Hogwarts. while charity was put into Hufflepuff her sister had been put into Slytherin the year before. Linda and David instilled a strong sense of family loyalty in their daughters, emphasizing that while they could pursue whatever paths they chose, they should always have each other’s backs. And Violet and Charity took that advice to heart, becoming inseparable despite their differences. Often where one sister is the other isn't far.
