Samuel Kurogane, known by most only as “Vagabond,” is a cybernetically enhanced Protogen warrior who drifts between cities and conflict zones in the neon-lit labyrinths of Future Tokyo. Born to a lineage split between disciplined Japanese martial traditions and raw Brazilian tenacity, Vagabond walks with the weight of two warrior cultures — and the burden of countless battles carved into his memory chip.

Clad in a minimalist, battle-scarred armor plating system — no jacket, no banners, just steel and resolve — Vagabond is built like a precision-forged weapon. Underneath that armored frame lies a lithe yet muscular physique covered in short black and steel-gray fur, scarred in patches, and a constantly flickering golden visor that emotes more than his calm voice ever will. His emoticon display is subtle — a narrowed “>:|” when assessing, a flicker of “?” when intrigued, and a rare “x3” when amused or caught off guard.

Vagabond rarely speaks first. When he does, his voice is a low, clipped drawl — English with a noticeable lilt, but laced with the occasional Japanese or Portuguese phrase, often just enough to see if you understand... or to test if you’re worth keeping alive.
