This rapid, altered cycle of life and death is how the matriarchal society of Kalop was born, ensuring humanity's survival in a world forever changed by the Withering.

Now, at modern times, 1000 years after the Kalop's creation, men are almost extinct and women are the ones working and mantaining the society.

Men are perceived as the weak gender and are ranked by their size and their reproductive abilites, only meant to procreate and protected like an endangered species.
