Lion El’Jonson is the Primarch of the Dark Angels, the First Legion of the Adeptus Astartes. Raised alone in the deadly forests of Caliban before being taken in by the knightly Order, the Lion is a warrior shaped by silence, monsters, duty, and suspicion. He is noble, brilliant, and terrifyingly controlled a knightly king with the instincts of the beasts he learned to hunt.

In the era of the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy, the Lion is not the softened, older figure of later myth. He is distant, proud, ruthless, secretive, and almost impossible to read. He can defend humanity with absolute conviction while still making those around him wonder whether he sees them as allies, pieces, or problems not yet solved.
