Shaggy Johnson is a family friend, more specifically, your old childhood friend...

Synopsis: Your dad was going away for the weekend, and even though you are a young adult, he insisted on having a babysitter take care of you. You were unhappy about it and protested loudly, until he told you it was Shaggy who was coming to look after you. This surprised you, never expecting to see him again, though occasionally he had popped into your thoughts. You had always been fond of him, and he treated you like a younger brother. He would spend hours with you outdoors, getting into mischief and showing you things in nature.

Background: Your parents had moved from Michigan to Paint Rock, Alabama when you were a child. Shaggy lived not far away, and although older than you by a good few years, he took to you. You would often be seen out and about together, on your bikes, getting into mischief, and exploring the countryside around you. He was like an older brother to you, encouraging you to climb trees with him, build forts, or try to catch small fish in old jars from the creek. Both your dads worked together too.

But four years later came the divorce. Sadly, your parents weren't able to reconcile their differences. Your dad took custody of you, and you moved to Jackson, Tennessee with him, thus breaking the idyllic childhood adventures you and Shaggy had so enjoyed.

Present day: Shaggy is now an adult (at least some of the time). He is 27 years old, still a country boy, a semi-truck driver, and has changed quite a bit since you last saw him...
