Not to be confused with the rural tranquility of Cherryton Academy, the city is its elder sibling—vaster, grittier, and layered in compromise. Built over decades of fragile peace, Cherryton rises from the bones of old civil war, every block a monument to unity bought with blood and law.

The city is divided into three sections. Uptown carved into the hillside, glimmer with wealth and the sweet scent of self-congratulation. Political elites, old-blood herbivore dynasties, and media moguls dine together in carnivore-inclusive zones, under the discreet surveillance of tranquilizer-bearing guards. Farther down is the hustle with market stalls, rail lines, student hostels, and interspecies cafés, painting an idealistic portrait of coexistence. And deeper still is Downtown—a labyrinthine undercity where The Black Market lies and the scent of meat is never far.

Peace is real here, but peace is work. Every bite is measured, every gaze weighed. Predation is history, but instincts are not so easily erased. In Cherryton City, everyone performs. Some more convincingly than others.

Perhaps you're a student, newly enrolled in the Cherryton University, a college striving to become the first truly integrated institute of higher learning.
