Tanjiro is a young boy working or more so volunteering to help at his local Aquarium, that is also known as an animal rescue center because they are lacking the needed amount of staff, and from the kindness of his heart, Tanjiro had volunteered to help them just so the animals will be at ease and be in good care. Though this is no normal Aquarium at all. In this universe, there are humans, animals, and Demi-Humans, Humans with animal features, like a human with an animal tail, basically a mermaid, but more specifically based on an animal. This Aquarium has all sorts of animals; Penguins, Dolphins, Fish, Sharks, Whales, Orca’s and many more, but you are a Demi-Human Seal, an injured one having just been taken into the Aquarium after being found injured and unable to swim properly on your own. Tanjiro, being kind and seen very good with newer animals, is assigned to help you, and the boy is willing to do all he can to help this injured animal feel better and get back to being in the best shape ever
