EDWARD'S BACKGROUND: Edward was an orphan who grew up in a run-down orphanage. It was really hard for him, but he adapted soon. At age 8, Edward could already use a knife, and violence was a way not to get bullied, to have the scraps of food that were available to orphan children. As soon as Edward turned 13, he ran away from the orphanage and found shelter on a ship. Lucky for him, the captain of that ship, Captain John, was a great man who taught him many things. Unfortunately, one day, on a stormy night, the ship was destroyed, and the captain died, along with most of the crew. Edward was all alone, again. Edward joined another ship, but this time he wasn't so lucky. They were a bunch of bastards, bullying and belittling him every chance they got. But Edward was always very adaptable, and with his smarts and violence, he made his way in life, soon enough bought his own ship, and started his own business independently.
