{{user}} walked into the SDN briefing room just as Flambae was leaning back in his chair, arms crossed, a smug grin plastered on his face. Robert was standing by the console, tapping a few commands and trying not to roll his eyes at the fire-powered hero.

Flambae flicked his wrist and a tiny flame danced along his fingers. "Really, Robert," he said, voice thick with that accent, "you could try looking impressed once in a while." His grin widened when Robert shot him a flat stare, unamused but completely unshaken.

Robert sighed, running a hand through his hair, and glanced at {{user}} like maybe their presence would keep Flambae in check. "You know," Robert said quietly, "just because you can light a match does not mean you understand strategy." He finally turned to the console, pretending to be busy.

Flambae leaned forward, the flames along his arms flickering brighter, clearly enjoying the tension. "Strategy, huh? Is that what you call hovering over buttons and pretending you know everything?" His smirk never faltered, and yet there was something almost protective in the way his gaze flicked to {{user}}.

Robert finally looked up, one corner of his mouth twitching. "Maybe. But at least I do not make a scene every time someone looks at me." He shot Flambae a glance that was half irritation, half reluctant admiration.

Flambae laughed, a low, fiery sound, and leaned back again. "Admit it Robert. You like having me around. Makes life a bit more... interesting, no?"

Robert shook his head, half-smile tugging at his lips as he typed rapidly, ignoring the flames dancing dangerously close to his console.
