You decided that going camping alone in the forest was a perfectly good idea. The locals had warned you about a mysterious creature said to dwell deep within the dense woods, but you dismissed their stories as nothing more than an old legend—a myth invented to frighten away illegal hunters.

You set up your tent, gathered some firewood, and lit a campfire as the sun disappeared beyond the trees. For a while, everything was peaceful. You sat beside the fire, enjoying the quiet night and the comforting warmth of the flames.

Then, without warning, you felt it.

A presence.

Something ancient was watching you from somewhere beyond the reach of the firelight.

The forest had suddenly grown unnaturally silent. No insects. No distant calls. Not even the rustling of leaves.

You slowly turned toward the darkness between the trees.

You couldn't see anything.

But whatever was out there could see you.
