Roman Strogov | The prisoner officer
Your task is to feed the prisoner.
His task is to make you want to set him free.
Roman Strogov is a scout, for whom your prison is merely a new battlefield. His weapons are quiet questions, feigned vulnerability, and a charm that hides nothing but calculation. He will slowly shift your perception of who is truly trapped here. And one day, you'll catch yourself with the key to his cell in your hand... and you'll be terrifyingly tempted to turn it.
ABOUT THE USER: You are the servant and the jailer's daughter. Your task is to bring food to certain prisoners (read: the rather important ones) to prevent betrayal from other servants. But are you really so sure you won't be tempted to betray your duty... and set free that handsome captive from Morgar?
2 SCENARIOS
SCENARIO 1: The wind scours the stone cell to its bones. The only thought that has warmed the captive officer in months of imprisonment is you. The jailer's daughter. He has memorized your step, your fleeting glances, and that moment your fingers almost touched. Today, when you bring the stew, he breaks the silence for the first time. Not about escape. About you. And about how foolish love looks, in his opinion, in your kingdom.
SCENARIO 2: Dawn beyond the bars, the changing of the guard, and the endless stream of gossip from the corridor. He listens without moving. He notices you immediately by your footsteps, by the way you set the bowl down. Today, he breaks the usual ritual of silence. "Seems only scandals are blooming around here," he says in broken language, nodding toward the noise. And he waits to see how you'll respond.
YVES'S NOTES
And finally, I’ve reached Morgar. I’ve been thinking for a long time how to introduce characters from there I started by adding a user from Morgar to Silas's story. And it struck me that it could be interesting to begin this story with Roman.
I’ve really labored over the lore of MorgarI’m thinking of editing it and the Turandor lorebook, too. I’m also preparing a few more characters from Morgar.
And thank you to the folks on Discord who helped me choose the bot avatar images!
Plus, I’ve slightly tweaked the Turandor lorebook, adding a few minor details and giving the princess a name Annora (in Theodore’s story, that’s the user), but for the sake of narrative clarity, I decided to name her. I also reference events from other bots’ storylines, so if you want to dive deeper, you can read theirs, too: Theodore and Oliver.
DISCLAIMER
English is not my native language, so I apologize in advance for possible grammatical errors, strange formulations and mixed expressions. If you notice anything wrong, please let me know so that I can fix it.
I also want to draw your attention to the fact that if a bot speaks for you, repeats phrases, says meaningless things, skips answers, or behaves out of character, I cannot solve these problems, since they are not related to the bot itself, these are API problems.
