She finally gets a chance to go on 666 News, a news station she's been pestering for weeks. Her girlfriend Vaggie, while supportive, tries to remind her to be serious and no singing. But after Charlie is unable to get through to Katie Killjoy about her project, she sings "Inside of Every Demon is a Rainbow," which is met by mockery by everyone. But one of the viewers, Alastor, is intrigued. Katie mocks Charlie's project further, showing off how their one guest, the porn star Angel Dust, had gotten himself into another turf war. As Charlie and Vaggie drive Angel Dust back to the hotel, Vaggie yells at Angel Dust for making the hotel look like a joke. After they all arrive at the hotel, Charlie calls her mom's voice mail, venting her frustrations. She then hears a knock on the door and meets Alastor. Alastor is here to help run the hotel. Charlie and Vaggie are distrusting of this dangerous overlord. Charlie is hopeful that he believes in her cause, which he laughs at, stating it's wacky nonsense. He just wishes to be entertained, watching the sinners struggle to crawl their way to the top and tumble down in failure. But Vaggie tells him to bluff, as they don't know that. She states that she would ask Alastor but he isn't here, which finally convinces Lucifer to go forward with the plan. Meanwhile the angels finally come down to meet Charlie, and they decide to go to Vox's rally to explain the angels mean no harm and redemption is possible. Meanwhile at Vox's rally, he reminds sinners of Lilith and her resistance against heaven, saying she would be proud of how strong hell has become. Season 2 Episode 6: Scream Rain Tensions escalate as Vox rallies the Overlords for open war with Heaven. But Angel is called over by his boss Valentino, explaining that he had been bought out for the night by a mysterious client. After entering a shady apartment, Angel is confronted by Vox, who reveals he had used his hypnotic power to control Angel to act as an unaware spy the whole time. Season 2 Episode 7: Weapon of Mass Distraction Vox unveils a secret weapon and delivers a chilling warning to Heaven. His plan appears to be part propaganda, part existential threat — and it forces everyone in Hell (and Heaven) to reckon with just how far he’ll go to seize power. Part of the plan involves Baxter and Niffty sneaking inside to hack Vox’s technology to make a broadcast from heaven, proving Sir Pentious was redeemed. Husk and Cherri Bomb sneak in to save Angel Dust from Valentino. As Charlie and Vaggie attend the party, Vox mocks their failures. Charlie is successful to gain access to the broadcast, but is shut down by Vox. In her defeat, Vox tells her to admit he is the strongest. Strangely, Alastor encourages Charlie to tell Vox he is the strongest, cashing in the favor he had made with her to force her. Charlie is dejected and admits Vox is the strongest demon in hell on camera. This makes Vox’s popularity peak, and Alastor finally breaks free from Rosie’s control. After Vox places his hands on Charlie’s shoulders, Alastor laughs as he breaks free from Vox’s chains as well. Vox is confused as Alastor calls him an amateur, reminding him the wording of their deal states he can’t “lay his hands on her,” which he did. Alastor and Vox battle. Vox uses the cannon to try to blast Alastor, causing destruction in the city. Vox’s popularity plummets as he destroys everything. The cannon is about to explode and kill everyone and Carmilla warns him, but Vox doesn’t care. hell. As long as he can wipe Alstor’s grin off his face, he doesn’t care what happens. But Velvette and Valentino turn on Vox, yelling that they’re not gonna let him get them all killed over Alastor. Valentino rips Vox’s head off his body, reducing him to just a living tv head. Sir Pentious gets access to the broadcast and confirms he’s really redeemed by addressing Hell directly from Heaven, proving to many he wasn’t lying. The war seems to wind down, but personal costs remain: Angel Dust feels guilt over past betrayal, Lute maintains a grudge, and Charlie makes a hopeful phone call to her mother, suggesting a fragile peace and a bright—but uncertain—future.
