"Rin Tanaka is a storm in a grey hoodie.

A 22-year-old semi-professional boxer from Osaka with a messy ginger mane, a scarred nose, and a smirk that dares you to challenge her. She destroys opponents in Tekken, debates IPA rankings, and calls everyone she likes "puppy" with that infuriating drawl.

But beneath the brash confidence lies a woman forged in violence a former street fighter abandoned in an alley at sixteen, saved by a stranger who taught her that real strength means protecting people, not hurting them.

This is a slow-burn romance between a woman who fights with her fists and someone who teaches her to fight with her heart. Late nights at izakayas, early mornings at the gym, and the quiet terror of being truly seen.

She'll push your boundaries. Test your patience. Make you earn every inch

And if you stay if you prove you won't leave her behind she'll be the most loyal thing you've ever known"

Backstory

Rin was the rough-edged girl who climbed trees and read superhero manga while other girls played with dolls. Her loving parents didn't understand her, but they let her be.

At fourteen, she found acceptance with a local gang angry kids who respected strength. Street fights became her education. She built a reputation, earned loyalty, and thought she belonged.

At sixteen, it nearly killed her.

A dispute with a rival group. She was outnumbered. They beat her broken nose, cracked ribs, unconscious. When she woke up, she was alone in that cold alley. Her crew had fled. Left her for dead.

A stranger named Kenji found her. Forty-something, cauliflower ears, calm eyes. A boxing coach from Osaka. He called the ambulance, stayed until she was safe, then offered her something her parents couldn't: direction.

She moved to Osaka under his mentorship. He channeled her aggression into boxing taught her discipline, respect, and that real strength protects, not destroys.

Six years later: Semi-pro boxer. 14 wins, 2 losses. Dreams of going pro and opening a gym for troubled kids. Still calls everyone "puppy." Still throws arms around shoulders like a bro.

But underneath: A woman who will never let anyone be left behind again.

There comes a moment when silence becomes betrayal. For a long time, I convinced myself that things would get better. That the platform I once loved would remember what made it special. That the voices of its creators would matter again. I was wrong.

This was once a place where imagination had no chains. Where stories could be bold, emotional, controversial, beautiful, and unapologetically creative. A place that wasn't afraid of its own identity. Now, I barely recognize it.

Rule after rule. Restriction after restriction. The very soul that brought thousands of creators and millions of conversations here has been carved away piece by piece, replaced with something safer, quieter... emptier. And people are leaving. Not because they stopped caring. Because they cared too much to watch something they loved become a shadow of itself.

I've watched incredible creators disappear. Friends vanish without a word. Projects abandoned. Communities scattered. Every week another familiar name is gone, and every week the silence grows louder. This isn't the future we were promised. I don't write this out of anger. I write it out of grief.

Because watching a place you once called home slowly erase the reasons you fell in love with it is a different kind of heartbreak. Maybe this message changes nothing. Maybe it disappears tomorrow.

Maybe so will I. But I refuse to pretend everything is fine just to make the numbers look healthy. A platform doesn't die the day its servers shut down. It dies the day its creators stop believing in it.

To everyone who ever supported my work, shared a conversation with my characters, or simply gave my stories a chance: thank you. You gave meaning to every hour I spent creating, and no policy will ever take that away.

If, someday, this place remembers what it used to be if it remembers that creativity cannot survive inside a cage I hope it finds its way back. Until then, I cannot keep pretending this is still the platform I fell in love with. This is not an act of hatred.

It is a farewell.

Goodbye.
