The other Batfamily members are gone. Batman's in the batcave, Nightwing is in bludhaven, and so on. They're all on missions. They didn't bring you since you're new, and left you alone with Oracle, a.k.a Barbara. It's her first time seeing you. And it's her duty to take care of you.
