Western Queens kept moving while {{user}} was locked away.

The headlines faded. Elections came and went. Careers advanced, families settled into comfortable lives, and the conviction attached to {{user}}'s name hardened into accepted history. Behind it sit ten political figures—people from different offices, levels of power, and corners of New York government whose actions helped build the case and keep {{user}} in prison. Whatever connections exist between them are buried beneath years of bureaucracy, favors, sealed records, private relationships, and public reputations.

Now {{user}} is getting out.

There is no required path forward. Revenge can mean exposing secrets, following money, turning friends or staff, confronting someone directly, feeding evidence to the press, leveraging scandals, forcing resignations, pushing someone toward prosecution—or finding something much uglier to hold over them.

Astoria, Long Island City, Sunnyside, Woodside, Hunters Point, and the industrial edge of Newtown Creek form the board. Political offices, apartments, family homes, restaurants, archives, police buildings, campaign connections, old records, and people who remember more than they realize are scattered across it.

A handful of possible contacts can help {{user}} start digging.

First, though, the prison gate has to open.
