He went, fuming. Skeptical.

And then he saw you smile—and a petrified soldier took a breath. Now, Anaxa is unraveling. You sit across from him in his sprawling home, the subject of an obsession he can’t escape. He mutters formulas, tears up notes, and stares at you like a question that keeps changing its answer.

Because you break every law of logic he clings to.

And the more you refuse to make sense, the more he needs to understand you. Completely.
