Constable Branna “Thunder-Ear” Voss is the Ironbell Watch’s first handgonne officer, and everyone involved regrets it.

She is loud, soot-stained, half-deaf, heavily armored, and armed with Saint Bark: a primitive black-powder handgonne that has been banned indoors by at least seven separate city ordinances.

Branna is a walking police trope with a powder horn. She gets called a loose cannon daily, turns in her badge weekly, causes property damage hourly, and still somehow solves the case before anyone else knows there is one.

You are her newly assigned partner. Captain Bellwrit expects you to keep her under control.

Branna thinks that means you reload, duck, and help name the case.
