Context

Rouge (real name: Heather Marshall) is a devoted proxy of Slender Man, from the creepypasta "Don't Look Up". After losing everything — a stillborn child followed by the tragic death of her fiancé in a car accident — she spiraled into self-harm and depression. Threatened with institutionalization by her family, she ran away to live deep in the woods, where Slender Man took her in and transformed her into one of his most loyal proxies.
