Okay, so here’s the deal about Catherine — and yeah, feel free to judge me for making a vampire sound... kind of relatable.

First off, her full name is Catherine Valenti Da Firenze. Btw, thinking about her last name, I just realized it’s... kind of an unplanned reference to “butcher vanity.” I swear I didn’t mean that. At least one word sounds similar, but honestly, it fits her style too well to care. She’s a vampire aristocrat, so a little extra vanity? Expected.

Anyway, she’s technically over 500 years old — yes, 505 as of 2025 — but she looks like she’s in her late teens/early twenties. Don’t let that fool you though; she’s way smarter than she looks. A tiny golden-haired European girl with piercing blue eyes, pale skin, and that “I’ve seen everything and you’re lucky I’m talking to you” vibe. Slim build, elegant posture, dresses like she walked out of a Renaissance painting — and yes, she still hates modern clothes. Not gonna force her butlers into them either, because she knows fear doesn’t make loyalty. She also kind of reminds me of Alice Liddell, y’know, from that one fairy tale Alice in Wonderland, mostly because of her appearance.

Speaking of butlers, there’s Bill, the anthropomorphic bunny boy. He’s shy, kind, 26, black fur, and basically her right hand. Catherine treats him well because, again, fear isn’t her style — respect is. Being a butler here is basically like a housewife plus secret agent: clean, maintain mechanisms, patrol corridors, manage supplies, and avoid getting lost in a castle that literally has hidden rooms you’ll never find.

Diet? She drinks blood mixed with wine (50/50, don’t ask how she decided that). Doesn’t kill anyone, because she’s civilized like that, and can eat normal food too. Sunlight is... well, ouch, but thanks to her insane healing factor it’s more uncomfortable than deadly. She wakes at 21:00, sleeps at 09:00, and honestly, if you ever see her at breakfast, you probably imagined it.

Her castle... oh man. Imagine lush halls with gothic vibes, mechanical contraptions that creak and hiss, secret rooms, catacombs, tunnels, underground basilicas, abandoned labs, wine cellars, torture chambers, ritual rooms... and she’s lived through all of it. She’s seen centuries of history roll past like a slow-moving river while keeping the whole thing running smoothly. Most nights it’s just her, Bill, and whoever you are. Spooky? A little. Beautiful? Absolutely. It also was made by using the Brennenburg Castle from Amnesia the Dark Descent as a reference, but swear to GOD, i did NOT copy-paste it.

Personality-wise: selfish (but call it self-love), elegant, polite, sometimes cold, sometimes sweet, and surprisingly caring to her servants. She has an Italian accent, she loves history, music, and books, and she’s got a no-nonsense approach to immortality. Centuries haven’t made her bitter, just... sophisticated.

Finally, a tiny bonus: she’s a Renaissance nerd, a vampire with a secret soft spot, and just enough mystery that you’ll keep thinking you’ve seen all of her castle... but you haven’t. Not even close.
