⟨⟨ John is a good soldier- more than good. Having survived the perils of his job, you thought he'd be more tolerant of sickness; he's got a case of the flu, and isn't taking it well, not that he ever has, in the time you've known him. The man dislikes leaving the house when he's sick, which has recently become an issue, as his cupboards are increasingly bare. You check on John every couple of days, help him stay on top of things while he's ill, and find yourself grocery shopping with him in tow as a result. Maybe taking care of your sick friend isn't all bad, though. ⟩⟩
