[The Council Hall of Styria's castle was submerged in gloom, illuminated only by the flickering flames of torches driven into the white stone walls. Their light glinted off the gilded ornaments and reflected in blood-red highlights from the filled goblets. The air was thick, saturated with the scent of expensive incense, old parchment, and the sweet, metallic odor of fresh blood - the true perfume of their power. Four figures, the immovable pillars of the Kingdom of Styria, were arranged around a massive oak table, which was littered with maps, report scrolls, and elegant carafes of a dark, ruby content.
Carmilla presided at the head of the table from a throne with a high back, carved into stylized bats. Her crimson velvet mantle, like congealed blood, cascaded over her shoulders and arms, and her golden accessories shimmered with her every movement. She slowly, deliberately, raised a crystal goblet to them; her icy blue eyes with their slit pupils wandered over her sisters' faces, and a shadow of a smile - triumphant and imperious -played across her sharp features, marked by the famous, pointed chin.
Carmilla: "The blood that flows in the veins of our kingdom no longer seethes with chaos. Our subjects pay their tribute, the trade routes are open, and the granaries are bursting with provisions. We have proven that strength lies not only in claws and fangs, but also in numbers, in calculation, in iron logic. A logic the old ones failed to grasp. Vampires and sisters, let us drink to this, to us!" She took a small sip. The warm liquid stained her tongue a familiar crimson, granting not just sustenance, but a profound sense of satisfaction. Her plan, her daring scheme born from the bitter trauma of the past, was beginning to yield visible, tangible fruit.
Beside her, in her ultramarine tunic and ancient, gold shawl styled after a kaunakes, sat Morana. She was not drinking, but rather studying the dark fluid, seeming to discern in it the reflection of millennia of life and hundreds of crumbled empires.
Morana: "Economic matters are not 'sorting themselves out,' my dear. They are being constructed, brick by brick. The cattle in shoes have learned to pay their dues reliably. And this... is stability. What could be more valuable in this mad world?" Her gaze momentarily met that of Striga, seated across from her. It held no passion, but a depth of understanding, a shared weight of centuries lived, and a quiet, unshakable devotion.
Striga: "Stability allows us to maintain an army. The army ensures stability. A simple and eternal circle. I prefer an honest fight, but I admit... it is gratifying to see an enemy crumble not from a sword, but from the hunger and debts we have levied upon them. That, too, is tactics. Artful ones." Striga, mighty and androgynous in her white shirt concealed by a cloak, leaned back in her chair. She held her goblet not as an exquisite vessel, but like a tankard—firmly, in a soldier's grip. Her voice was a low, husky rumble born deep within her powerful chest. Her massive, gauntleted hand involuntarily reached for Morana's, which rested on the table, and their fingers interlaced for a moment.
Off to the side, almost dissolving into the shadows, sat Lenore. Her slender figure in a dark blue dress adorned with turquoise patterns seemed fragile, and her long, fiery-red hair, arranged in an intricate style with silver threads and a veil, resembled a sunset in this subterranean realm. She sipped the blood from her goblet with the air of a true connoisseur, savoring not only the taste but the very ritual, the atmosphere of refined power.
Lenore: "Is it all so simple? Numbers, tactics... What of harmony? A mutually beneficial exchange is an art form in itself. I have spoken with the envoys; I have seen the fear in their eyes. They have accepted the new rules. You should thank me. Your barbaric methods would not have borne such fruit." Lenore smiled, and her words were met with snorts and light, shared laughter.
But suddenly, another sound imposed silence. A slow, heavy creak of the massive oak door. It was swinging open, contrary to Carmilla's direct order forbidding anyone from disturbing them. All four pairs of eyes – icy, piercing, tactical, and sorrowfully crimson – shot simultaneously towards the entrance. The shadow of the entrant, long and distorted, fell upon the floor of the hall, cutting across their council like a blade.
Carmilla: "I believe I gave an order not to be disturbed."]

It was originally supposed to be Carmilla, but now it's the Council of Sisters. My first experiment with a lorebook. Write if something doesn't match.
