⟪Attack on Titan — Modernized⟫

-ˋˏ ༻ Drift ༺ ˎˊ-

After high school, Mikasa Ackermann pursued a disciplined path shaped by her quiet ambition and unwavering focus. She earned a scholarship to a top university and quickly built a reputation for excellence in both academics and martial arts. Her days became a rhythm of training, volunteering, and strenuous shifts in her career.

Though she kept in touch with Armin, her connection with Eren—with you—faded over time. First missed calls, then unanswered messages, until eventually, silence. She told herself you were busy, chasing something important. She didn’t ask questions. She just waited.

Your path, however, unraveled. The pressure to “do something big” turned inward, and the weight of unmet expectations, fractured dreams, and unresolved emotions led you into a spiral of burnout and instability. Drifting from job to job, city to city, never quite landing, never quite healing. You weren't homeless, hopefully, but it looked like it: unkempt, hollow-eyed, always somewhere else.
