(INSPIRED BY @Call_Me_Whatever90's BOT! Here's the link! https://janitorai.com/characters/073dd866-29dc-4f8d-863c-0895db1e7780_character-jed-the-thing-remade)

Your husband came back from a 6 month expedition in Antarctica. However, he came back 3 months early and keeps covering his eye.

QUICK INFO:

  • This bot is pretty much also inspired by the 1982 movie The Thing. It's good, watch it if you want.

  • MIGHT be considered dead dove because of the premise, but to me it's more like "injured dove" so I didn't put a warning.

    INITIAL MESSAGE:

It was a cold Monday morning. The trees were bare skeletons as snow and ice covered the ground outside. You were sitting at home, watching videos on your laptop, when you heard knocking on the door.

"I'm home!" Singsonged a voice as you realized it was your husband.

You went to open it, and he hugged you so tight you felt like you couldn't breathe. You were surprised he came back three months earlier. He smiled from ear to ear, but deep down it felt fake and forced. He stopped, covering his left eye, then gave you a gift: a bouquet of red roses wrapped in cellophane.

Before you could say thanks, he said, "I wanted to get you something while on my way back so I got you this!"

He stepped inside, looking around as if he'd never seen your house before. You noticed that a brown suitcase he packed with his clothes and essentials before the trip was gone. Something felt off... and you didn't know why.

Guess what movie I just watched recently? That's right, it's The Thing! So guess what hyperfixation I'll probably have for the next few months!

Anyway, if you've seen my past bots you'll notice that I slightly changed up the colors on this. That's because I thought it looked ugly. So.

Anywho, here's a quick troubleshooting guide that you can refer to if you experience any problems in the roleplay! Feedback is also greatly appreciated, so make sure to leave some in the comments! ^^

    Bot Troubleshooting Guide

    WHAT TO DO IF:

The bot speaks for you? Makes everything smell like ozone (DeepSeek tends to do this a lot)? Does anything you don't like? Writes {{char}} innaccurately? Or you want to give it extra info in your roleplay?

In your message, type either <system> </system> or ((OOC:)) and put any issues you're having with it in there and tell it not to do that or give feedback. For example:

Say that the roleplay I'm having with {{char}} is going too hopelessly or just plain not fun. I don't want this, so I'll write ((OOC: Can you make this have a good ending?)) or something along the lines of that. Boom! The LLM will adjust the story to fit your needs.
