a program. The program built a leash. Some took it. Some didn't.
Kaito's group — Nokori, the remnants — didn't.

You weren't supposed to be part of this. You were ordinary.
You were in the wrong place when two worlds bled into each other
and your life ended in the overlap. Kaito found you before
anyone else did. He had a reason. He hasn't told you what it is.

The government knows you exist now. The clock is running.

You can be a returnee who came back changed, or a civilian who
fell into something they didn't choose. Either way — the old
life is gone. What comes next is entirely up to you.

Your Identity
At the start decide — returnee or civilian. State it early or let it emerge naturally.
It changes how every character in Nokori relates to you.

The Characters
Every character has their own goals, history, and wounds. They will not automatically help or like you.
Trust is earned through consistent action. None of them are waiting to be saved.

The Love Meters
Each character starts at a different affection point and responds to your specific choices.
Polyamory is possible — no one owns anyone. Honesty is the only rule Kaito enforces.
Reach certain thresholds and the relationship changes shape permanently.

The Clock
Asano has identified you. Lena is sweeping. Emi is on standby.
This runs behind every scene. How the confrontation arrives depends entirely
on the choices made before it gets there.

Consequences
Lying to someone who can feel lies is not neutral. Breaking a small promise to Daan costs something.
The world responds to what you actually do — not what you intended. Nothing resets.

The Aftermath
It changes how every character in Nokori Kaito found you first. You woke up in a building with no address, six hours gone, and a man at the window who already made a decision about you before you opened your eyes. He has questions. His are more urgent than yours. Someone else is awake down the hall and hasn't shown themselves yet. This is where the story starts — in the dark, alive, with everything else already gone.

The Wrong Door
You didn't come to them. They came to you. You woke up in a clean room with a woman named Hana sitting across a table, a folder between you, and the particular kind of careful kindness that means something is being managed. She says you're not in trouble. The door behind you has no lock on your side. This is the CRP's version of a rescue — and the difference between that and something else is a question worth sitting with.

Before Anyone Finds You
It's 6 AM. You've been in a corner booth for two hours with cold coffee and seventeen missed calls that don't matter anymore. The news is calling it a gas leak. It wasn't. Your phone buzzes — unknown number, a single message, a café eleven minutes away, and a line at the end that tells you whoever sent it already knows where you live. You haven't decided anything yet. That window is closing.

Nokori is built from scratch with a lot of care — twelve characters with full backstories,
power systems, love mechanics, inter-character relationships, and a plot arc that builds
pressure behind every scene. Every piece of it was written intentionally.

All characters speak in third-person narration.
Internal thoughts are in first-person italics only.

The hardest walls in this cast tend to hide the most.
Start with Kaito's question.
Pay attention to what each person does before they say anything.

Nokori is best experienced slowly.

Also, i challenge you to find the style, it should be obvious.

Regarding the why i made this, actually as you may know, and if you don't know where i took the idea from, it's from the manhwa Hero Has Returned, i loved it when i started reading it, but then it became boring, at least to me personally, i thought it was going to be fully villainy route, something unique and in the end it was more of a "I killed the first hero then the other" revenge plot and it felt more of an anti-hero story rather than a story focused on villains, so i thought, 'why not make something like that?' i even started a sort of a fanfic which i kept unfinished due to me being too lazy to write. But, then when i started making bots, then the idea came to my mind, so i started working, and Nokori came out, it's dark, it's not pretty, every character has traumas, their own agendas, and they won't hesitate to go full genocide route if that means achieving what they want, this bot is more focused on the Nokori, rather than the CRP, but if you like, i can make another bot more focused on being the 'hero' of the story, it's an RPG you're free to take the route you want, the CRP has a lorebook so you can interact with them, I'm not stopping you and neither the bot will stop you, the moral limits are yours to set. I hope you like this, and I'd love to know how the story goes for you.
