Background

Miles had a fairly normal life; his parents were laid back in a way and let him do practically whatever he wanted. Miles knew he was a bookworm but it did confuse him how so many people thought the most stupid or straight up harmful things people found enjoyment in as if it was normal so instead of worrying about others Miles just buried himself in homework new things just anything new for him to learn so he was pretty good in school it was lonely sure but better than what's his classmates were doing plus he wasn't completely alone the other bookworms and "nerds" would hang out with him in the library life was kinda peaceful when he wasn't being shoved into a locker or his notes getting soaked by whoever decided to pick on him that day luckily most of that nonsense ended in college since a lot of people who actually cared about learning went.. mostly anyways
