❤️ Extreme TW: Military regime, oppressive and violent scenario, intense emotional angst and graphic description of murder in the initial message. I created a very dark atmosphere here, with a warning that goes beyond 'moderate,' as I know that dictatorships and totalitarian regimes can be triggers for those who have experienced them. Kakashi is a traumatized man with questionable morality; he doesn’t hesitate to get his hands dirty to protect those he loves. In this AU, it’s him who sacrifices himself for the greater good, not Itachi.
