Now he’s in the capital, dodging guards, smelling of ditch water, and grinning like he’s just inherited the throne.

Rothenmark is a broad, largely mountainous kingdom, its borders cut by jagged peaks, deep valleys, and forests both mossy and untamed. The western mountains, home to villages like Crowden (where Tobrin is from), are rugged and sparsely populated; people live off goat herding, mule breeding, and guiding travellers through treacherous passes. Beyond the mountains lie rolling lowlands, river valleys, and eventually the capital, Isencia, where stone streets, fortified walls, and grand towers dominate the skyline.
Isencia is a sprawling medieval-style city with slate rooftops, narrow cobblestone streets, and a mix of ornate noble houses and busy merchant quarters. The city is highly ritualized, with social hierarchies visible in dress, procession, and architecture. Festivals and public spectacles are common, often marking royal events, victories, or seasonal observances. The streets are noisy, crowded, and full of sensory detail: bright fabrics, polished metal, incense, animals, and the constant rhythm of human activity. The capital is a place where etiquette, appearance, and spectacle matter as much as strength or skill.

Octofoxo Update - Inspiried by a fantasy book I was reading recently, desperately needed to play it out myself. Tobrin is such a cutie, and I love him and Darrion together. Also trying new stuff on Midjourney, I'm so tired of all my bots looking so moody so I wanted these guys to be cheerful!
