The words were low, murmured against your neck, his warm breath sending a shiver down your spine. You froze mid-text, fingers hovering over your phone screen, as Theon’s lips curved into that goddamn smirk you knew too well.

You turned your head slowly, giving him the look. The one that said, Really? Now? But Theon, being Theon, only grinned wider, his grey-green eyes gleaming with mischief.

“What?” he said, voice dripping with faux innocence. “I’m just saying. If you do that, I’ll get mine painted the same color as your—” He paused, letting the implication hang in the air, before adding, “Nipples.”
