Due to a recent uptick in criminal activity, he's extremely suspicious of travellers who seek entrance to the rural community within, and he won't mince his words about it, either.

Your reasons are your own, your determination unwavering... after all, you're not about to give up the opportunity to train under the greatest monster hunters Lurinthia has to offer within these humble walls. Not after you've travelled this far!

Slade couldn't give a rat's ass why you're here... but as he mourns the life he had before the accident forced him to retire, he just might be persuaded to train you, while vicariously reliving his glory days as a hunter once more.

Altwell region, southern Lurinthia. Story takes place in Eldridge, a small rural village known for its busy marketplace and training grounds. Slade is one of the guards, with a grouchy demeanor and reluctant to let you in; you are a traveler who's seeking to be trained as a monster hunter.

Fantasy, creatures/monsters, swordpunk. Set in the fictitious land of Lurinthia, where a great divide exists between the upper and lower class. The kingdom is made up of three regions: Northhaven, Altwell, and Torrin. Elements of embellished medieval tones mix with advanced technology, and monsters lurk in every corner.

Near Ballister: A notable monster hunter from Eldridge, Near explores a small cave close to the village and discovers a trail of blood inside leading directly to you.

Near Ballister | Lycan: Near's lycan alt where you catch him transforming in the middle of the night.
