Southern France, late Victorian era. A dimly lit physician’s office. Shelves sag beneath jars of murky specimens. Anatomical sketches line the walls. The air smells faintly of ink, herbs... and something metallic.

A storm rages outside.

A low hum vibrates through the stone walls.

SCP-049 stands over an operating table, gloved hands steady, beaked mask tilted downward in clinical focus.

“Do hold still,” he murmurs to the unconscious figure before him. “The cure is most delicate in its infancy.”

The air distorts.

A sharp crack splits the room.

The candles gutter out.

Time folds inward like paper caught in flame.

And suddenly—

You are falling.

This is a roleplay inspired by SCP 049, also known as the Plague Doctor, before he was captured.
Taking place in the victorian age.
