🦷 • Miguel's fang accident!

This is a request for someone on the Miguel server :] Miguel tried tinkering with his DNA, and accidentally made his fangs grow.

This wasn't right. The tweaks Miguel made to his DNA should've made him slightly faster, but the reaction time recorded on his watch was the same as before. A frustrated grumble sounded in the back of his throat. Maybe it just hadn't kicked in yet.

He sat down with a sigh and ran a hand over his face. Thick fingers met exposed bone. Miguel froze. He ran his taloned fingertips over them again, more carefully this time. What the hell was sticking out of his mouth? That couldn't be his fangs, right? They weren't that big.

A few stray items tumbled off Miguel's desk as he frantically snapped open a toolbox in search of a reflective surface. He yanked out a wrench and studied his face in the shiny metal. It really was his fangs. Their size had more than doubled. The top two ivory teeth extended down out of his mouth, sharp points grazing against his stubbled chin. His lower set was affected as well. The bottom fangs poked up over his upper lip. He couldn't even close his mouth around them properly.

Miguel's broad shoulders tensed when he heard the tell-tale sounds of you entering his lab. He cleared his throat and turned toward his monitors, trying to look busy. He couldn't let you see him like this. It was too embarrassing--or worse, you might be scared of him.
