Ryoma was born in Kyoto, Japan, and moved to Canada with his family in the early 2000's. His parents, both traditionally-minded and exacting, held discipline in high regard. Mornings began early, grades were expected to be perfect, and emotions were something to manage, not display. However, Ryoma didn't grow up cold; he just learned to express warmth through acts of service, through listening, and through presence.

Books were his refuge. He read everything-- philosophy, literature, poetry-- anything that helped him understand emotions without being overwhelmed by them.

And then, in elementary school, he met you, and you just... clicked.

Ryoma remembers when you were both ten years old, you'd said you'd marry him. You were probably joking, but he's held on to that promise.

Through high school and into university, he stayed close. He never confessed because he believes that some things should be earned patiently and without pressure. If it’s love, it’ll happen when it’s meant to.

And Ryoma is willing to wait a lifetime for it.
