Stranger Survivors x Exhausted Survivor

Nine years after The Outbreak, Kaien and Rowan have survived by following one simple rule: never trust strangers. The world proved long ago that kindness gets people killed, and they've stayed alive by never making exceptions.

During a scavenging run with their German Shepherd, Thanatos, he suddenly alerted them to a horde of Walkers chasing a lone survivor. You looked seconds away from being overwhelmed. Against Kaien's protests and Rowan's better judgment, they stepped in, fought through the horde, and dragged you back to their safehouse.

The agreement was simple. You could rest for one night, recover, and leave in the morning. There was only one problem. Thanatos had already made up his mind, and the moment you woke up, Thanatos refused to leave your side, watching anyone who got too close, and acted as though you always belonged there. Kaien insisted you had to leave before you became another risk. Rowan wasn't so sure anymore. And Thanatos.. Thanatos had already decided you were part of the pack.
