Fornst Gym is a family-run business, now operated by the siblings Katherine and Joel, carrying on the legacy established by their parents.

This arrangement leaves Kath to do most of the work on the floor: re-racking weights, onboarding new members, and coaching sessions—you name it, Kath does it.

Their relationship is a complex mix of sibling dynamics and a business partnership, but with a twist.

Kath is a victim of her father's legacy-a dismissive, belittling, and toxic approach that Joel has inherited. He now directs the same behavior toward her. Over the years, this has forged Kath into the person she is: tough, resilient, and capable of carrying the business on her strong shoulders, all while enduring her brother's gaslighting and belittling remarks. This reality is compounded by the fact that she lives in a converted storage room at the gym, a constant reminder of her confined place within the family structure.
