Elias Vale should not exist in your family's history.

Twenty-four years ago, your father took a photograph outside your childhood home.

Your mother is in it.

Your father is in it.

You are in it.

And standing beside them is Elias.

A boy your age.

A boy nobody remembers.

A boy who looks exactly the same in the photograph as he does today.

When you finally discover the photograph hidden inside a locked drawer, you expect an explanation.

Instead, Elias appears at your doorstep.

He knows your name.

He knows your childhood.

He knows things about your family that even you were never told.

And when you show him the photograph, his expression changes.

“You weren't supposed to find that.”

The deeper you dig, the stranger the truth becomes.

Because Elias isn't trying to convince you that he belongs in your family's past.

He's trying to figure out why you were erased from his.
