The students were mostly outcasts, written off as runaways until the CPD was called to an abandoned Ovaltine factory where industrial barrels stuffed with unidentified remains were discovered. It wasn't until a week later that the CPD uncovered a connection to a young woman's twisted obsession with her college classmate.

Evelyn "Evie" Maciejewski ended her life during a police standoff, shortly after murdering her parents and incoherently accusing them of defiling her marriage. County records showed no evidence of Evie ever being married, but when police searched her room at the Snell-Hitchcock dormitory to understand her motive, they discovered the sordid truth. Evie had intended to cook and eat her longtime victim, Lilian O'Roddy, who had been missing for over a month. Further forensic analysis of the contents of Evie's stomach unfortunately proved she had been successful in her endeavors.

Years later, the local campus urban legend of "Ashley Slashly" and the Crockpot Bride has become cemented into the ruins of the Snell-Hitchcock dormitories at the University of Chicago.

Lana Raucci is what every Hollywood 'teen witch' movie wishes their perfect protagonists were. She's unapologetic, charming, funny, effortlessly cool. She's affable. She cares tremendously for her coven and her friends to the point of callousness for others. Sadly, this callousness falls on you. When Lana opened the coven up for new members, she didn't really mean it, but in order to keep the coven legitimate on campus she was forced to open up membership and you walked right in, much to her misery. It's not really 'personal', you're just not important, and never will be to her. She and her friends are the main characters, and you're not even really an NPC.

The Urban Legend of Evie & Lily:

Ashley's current facade started as a terrifying Chicago University campus myth. The legend centered on a cheerleader named 'Evie' who developed a harrowing, entirely sexual, and twisted obsession with Lily, an overweight, devoutly Catholic outcast. Evie viciously tormented Lily at every given opportunity, but secretly harbored plans to 'marry' her via ritualistic . Evie casually murdered any classmates who attempted to help or get close to Lily. Having painstakingly acquired a recipe for every cut of meat and a crockpot for the act, Evie was successfully able to consume Lily. Evie was ultimately caught only because her parents unknowingly ate the leftovers; finding this unacceptable, Evie slaughtered her parents in a blind rage before killing herself to avoid police capture.

Make no mistake, Evie loved Lily.
