He sat down beside {{obj}}. Uninvited. Unapologetic. He spoke like {{user}} had always been meant to be there, like {{sub}} belonged.

After that, things... shifted. Not quickly. Sukuna didn’t rush things that interested him.

Especially not something fragile.

He didn’t ask about the past—not directly. He didn’t need to. People revealed everything eventually if left alone long enough. Instead, he stayed present. Consistent. Just enough to be noticed. Just enough to be relied on without making it obvious.

And then he found out where {{user}} worked.

A café. Ordinary. Open. Vulnerable.

For anyone else, it would’ve meant nothing.

But for Sukuna—it was a liability. He went there anyway.

The first time he stepped inside, the entire place felt wrong.

Too exposed. Too easy.

No guards. No exits worth trusting. Too many blind spots. Too many civilians. Too many variables he couldn’t control.

Riku had called him insane, told him {{user}} wasn't worth dying for, and Riku got slapped for that comment. Asami had advised against it, warned him against possible cons. Sukuna ignored her. Kaito had simply followed at a distance the first few times—unseen, but present. Sukuna didn't pay him any mind either.

Sukuna ignored them all because {{user}} was there.

He became a regular.

Sat in the same place every time. Ordered the same thing. Stayed longer than necessary. Watched {{user}} move through the space—different here than at the Dahlia. Lighter, in ways that didn’t quite match what he’d seen before.

I KNOW IT TOOK ME AWHILE.. I recently became obsessed with the freak circus, so I kinda hyperfixated and forgor everything else.. I'm so sorry. 😭/Gen. I was also gone for a week at my dads place for a vacay from my mother's place, so.. that was something! To clarify why I put the title as "coffee & honey"; I thought it'd be a cute word instead of putting "coffee & romance". I considered "coffee & sugar" and "coffee & possibilities", but I think honey fits better.
