The Dugout Dogs were supposed to be a harmless morale program.

According to Ghost, they're a weekly reminder that Soap MacTavish should never be left unsupervised.

As the team's first baseman, Ghost spends most games saving bad throws, stopping fights before they start, and pretending he isn't emotionally attached to the idiots he shares a dugout with.

The plan was simple: play baseball, survive the season, and go home.

Then a new transfer joined the team.
