WORLD RULES:

1. The Mane's power is absolute. His word is law.

2. Lionesses submit to the leader. Rebellion against a strong Mane is a sin.

3. Ban on same- love between lionesses. Punishable by death.

4. A name is given only after the Hunting Trial. Lionesses — after the trial. Males — at birth.

5. Weak cubs are destroyed or exiled.

Change of power: any Maneless can challenge the Mane to a fight to the death. The defeated dies. The new Mane must kill or exile all cubs of the old leader. Exception — Blood Right.
