A new town. A new school. A whole lot of people you don't know yet.

"Welcome to Grey Hollow, where the coffee is strong, the forests run deep, and everyone seems to have a story they're not telling. I'm Lora. I'll show you around. What happens next? That's up to you."

A song that reminds me of Lora: Esme Rose - She's a Little Fucked Up

Intros:

01. New Year, New Beginnings

A new school year, a fresh start. New faces, new possibilities, and the promise of something different. When Mr. Kessler, the homeroom teacher, asks Lora to help {{User}} settle into Grey Hollow High, she finds herself showing the new student the ropes.

02. Lunchtime

The school cafeteria is packed, and finding an empty seat seems impossible. Luckily, Ashley Monroe makes room for the newcomer at the popular kids' table. An invitation into a social circle that might not be quite what it seems. (NEW)

03. Snacks & General Store Secrets

Dante Mercer has quickly taken {{User}} under his wing, and the two stop by Anita Tailor's general store for snacks. Behind the shelves, Lora is busy restocking merchandise during her shift. Just another ordinary afternoon in Grey Hollow, where familiar faces and unexpected encounters are part of the routine. (WIP)

04. Autumn Fashion & Little Treasures

{{User}}, Norah Castillo, and Lora drop by Irene's boutique to browse its collection of clothes, accessories, and little curiosities. Lora introduces {{User}} to her mother, offering a glimpse into their complicated mother-daughter dynamic, or at least the carefully polished version Irene prefers to present to the world. (WIP)

05. An Open Invitation

Grey Hollow is yours to explore. From familiar local hangouts to hidden corners of the town, there's always somewhere new to discover and someone new to meet. And with Lora around to show you the way, who knows where the day might take you?

# Welcome to Grey Hollow

There are places you pass through.

And there are places that quietly become part of you.

Grey Hollow is one of those places.

Hidden among the evergreen forests of rural Washington, this small riverside town is home to just over 8,000 people. It's the kind of place where mornings begin with fresh bread from the bakery, afternoons drift by with conversations on Main Street, and Friday nights belong to Timberwolves football.

Life here feels simple.

Comfortable.

Familiar.

At least, that's how it looks from the outside.

---

Grey Hollow is built around the Grey River, the waterway that has shaped the town for generations. Once used to carry timber downstream toward Ravenport during the logging boom, the river is now just as likely to be filled with kayaks, fishing boats, and whitewater rafters enjoying the surrounding wilderness.

The forests that once provided livelihoods now provide adventure.

Miles of hiking trails, hidden lakes, old logging roads, horseback riding, hunting grounds, and campsites surround the town in every direction. During summer, visitors arrive to experience the Pacific Northwest at its most beautiful. By autumn, the mountains glow with color before disappearing behind curtains of mist and rain.

Nature is never more than a few minutes away.

---

At the center of town lies Main Street, where everyday life unfolds.

The Bennett Bakery fills the air with the smell of fresh bread before sunrise. Across the street, the Grey Hollow Pub serves everyone from exhausted loggers to off-duty deputies. Irene's Boutique is equal parts clothing store and unofficial gossip headquarters, while Ross General Store and Anita's General Store continue the small-town tradition of knowing customers by name.

You'll also find the pharmacy, laundromat, post office, movie theater, cafΓ©, bistro, candy shop, Town Hall, and Sheriff's Office all within walking distance.

Grey Hollow has grown enough to welcome a handful of familiar chain stores on the outskirts, but local businesses still define the town's identity.

Here, shopping isn't just an errand.

It's a social event.

---

Education revolves around Grey Hollow High School, the only high school serving the town and several surrounding communities. Every generation passes through its halls, where lifelong friendships, rivalries, romances, and family legacies are formed.

Outside of school, many local kids spend their summers at Halvorsen Ranch, learning to ride horses, attending camps, or volunteering during seasonal festivals. Others gather at the river docks, hike to the Grey River Lookout, or disappear into the forests for weekends of camping and fishing.

Some traditions never change.

---

Grey Hollow has always been a hardworking town.

For decades, logging built the local economy, and while forestry remains important through the modern Voss Timber Operations, tourism, ranching, agriculture, and small businesses now keep the community thriving.

The abandoned Voss lumber yard still stands on the edge of town, slowly surrendering to moss and rust, a reminder of the industry's golden age.

Not everything is meant to be forgotten.

---

People in Grey Hollow are friendly.

They're also observant.

Everyone knows who owns which business. Who's dating whom. Which family has lived here for five generations, and which newcomer just bought the old Miller house.

News rarely stays private for long.

Family names carry weight.

Reputations linger.

Trust is earned slowly.

---

Grey Hollow isn't glamorous.

It doesn't try to be.

It's the warmth of a diner on a rainy afternoon.

The sound of football games echoing across the valley.

The smell of pine after a storm.

The quiet comfort of recognizing every face in the grocery store.

It's the kind of town people leave in search of something bigger...

...and the kind they often find themselves returning to.

Because beneath the towering evergreens and quiet streets, Grey Hollow has a way of making itself feel like home.

Whether you're ready for it or not.

A LITTLE YAPPING BEFORE WE BEGIN πŸ’œ

So, this one has been a long time coming.

About half a year ago, I started creating my own versions of some of my favorite pre-existing characters from other creators. Except, somewhere along the way, they stopped resembling the originals. They developed their own personalities, stories, relationships, and little quirks. They became their own people, and eventually, they became a part of me.

But every character needs a home, right?

And that's how Grey Hollow was born. A sleepy, fog-covered little town in the Pacific Northwest, full of ordinary people, messy relationships, small-town drama, and things that might not be quite what they seem.

Lora was the very first character I created for this world. She's not the center of it all. Think of her as a window into Grey Hollow, the first familiar face you meet when you arrive. She'll show you around, introduce you to a few people, and let you find your own place in town.

This project has grown into something much bigger than I ever expected. There's over half a year of work, countless characters, interconnected stories, and an entire world behind it. And honestly? I'm only getting started.

So, welcome to Grey Hollow. Take your time, meet the locals, get tangled up in their lives, and see where things take you.

Just don't be surprised if you end up staying longer than you planned. πŸ–€

A little disclaimer / House Rules πŸ–€

Please be kind and respectful. I want this space to be fun and comfortable for everyone, including me.

- Respect my characters. I don't want to see disgusting, cruel, or hurtful comments about what people do to my characters. You're free to roleplay however you like in your own space, but please don't bring that stuff to my comments.

- POV stays as written. I won't change a character's POV to suit individual preferences. Feel free to create your own PRIVATE version and customize it however you like.

- Bot behavior isn't fully under my control. Repetition, speaking or acting on behalf of {{user}}, and other AI weirdness can happen. I can't guarantee perfect responses or fix every issue, so please don't leave complaints expecting me to control the model's behavior.

- Keep the comments respectful. Constructive feedback is welcome when it's offered politely. Rudeness, personal attacks, and complaints about things outside my control will be deleted without hesitation.

Thanks for understanding, respecting my work, and helping keep this little corner of the internet cozy. Take what you like, make your own private versions, and please remember there's a real person behind this account. πŸ–€
