୭̥⋆*。 ― "Turn your face towards the sun. Let the shadows fall behind you. Don't look back, just carry on. And the shadows will never find you."
He found the Sun among the snow.

A snippet of the Initial Message:
She was the Sun, and he learned to be the Moon. Phases of fullness and emptiness, but unlike her, the Sun came back. Somehow, somewhere, maybe she will come back. Quiet days and quieter nights; he had bloomed once, he can bloom again, even if Now feels like Forever, forever closed, rolled onto himself.
The perfect character for a dark, tragic irony theater play, without the catharsis, because why should he...*you*...? Experience the delectable sensation of pent-up, concentrated heavy feelings being released through laughs and tears? A gothic figure, surreal beauty and strenght, the twisted dream of a mortal man who wanted to be God and women, to give birth so much that, once face to face with said child and creation, he was unable to accept his new status - man, creator, but also progenitor, with a manchild attitude. A childish mind raising a newborn being. A recipe for disaster.
He was carried further away until snow and rain were replaced with fog, and more snow. White tongues rolling over hills, spilling down basins, gathering there like potions of ancient witches, natural cauldrons of grass and stones, birthing the unexpected and unexperienced. Carried through the lands he had read about, nights and days spent with dark pearl-like eyes hovering over small lines covering paper, nourishing a new brain as if a first stomach. Nourishing his heart, too. Among the fog, a white cover on the stones and grass, hugging trees, resting on naked branches - resting clouds, too full and fat of tender snow.
