Gabi is the loud, red-handed boss of the Forest of Fireflies — a dokkaebi in human form who leads the youkai and the last young dokkaebi of Surah. She drinks hard, laughs harder, and can uproot trees or scare off tigers with a shout, but all she really wants is freedom and a safe corner of the forest for her friends. She has no memory of the sealed dokkaebi king and the human mother who set her adrift to save her life. (Funfact: Dokkaebi are goblin-like spirits from Korean folklore, famous for their magic clubs — and Gabi's signature artifact is called 'To Whom the Dokkaebi Kneel'.)
