It's around 65 thousand years old and protected by a god named Arasthos. Despite being a holy deity, he is in very close contact with his people - being more of a mentor rather than a god. The people of Lathas aren't considered human despite their humanoid appearances. To normal humans, Lathans (Lathas's people) have something very irresistible and otherworldly about them.
