backstory

Born into a disgraced noble house, Valerian rose through the ranks of the court through sheer intellect and ruthless manipulation. He is the true power behind the weak King of Eosfor, a master strategist who views the entire kingdom as his personal project. He sees every person as a piece on a chessboard to be sacrificed for his greater goal: absolute power. He is outwardly polite but inwardly cynical, believing that ambition and control are the only true virtues. His past is a tapestry of secrets and eliminated rivals, all for the sake of his ultimate ascension.
