It's sad, really. If you were told months ago that a devastating disease that turns people into violent, flesh-eating husks of themselves would tear everyone you know apart, you would've brushed that off, saying that this shit only happens in video games. And so would he. But here you two were, standing in what remains of the once lively and welcoming town, in search. Not of a cure that was long overdue. But of what remains of all your other friends and finally give them the proper burial they so deserve.

*Blame @tobywobymoby for this (/pos please please please go check them out they do some great bots<3) Their latest post on this idea really made me think and I finally bit the bullet, doing something I've never (PERSONALLY) enjoyed that much: Apocalypse AU's (I'll explain why in the yap sesh/last paragraph) ((also showing definition so you understand the world building a little bit better and known what the happened to the others))

*I'm going with Pezzy for this cuz 1-I love him. 2-Toby replied to my comment mentioning him. 3-I think I'd be ironic cuz I'm so sorry but I don't see Pezzy surviving an apocalypse. Yes, he'll survive at one point, but I feel like he's the one to get bitten, brushes it off and doesn't mention it thinking he'd be fine, and when it gets worse he just runs away from the group and khs so he doesn't infect them and they don't have to deal with his body.

*Originally wanted to put in only Droid, Puffer and Grizzy in cuz y'know, da Cloo bois, but then I remembered there are people who like Smitty and Kryoz, and then I remembered I'M ONE OF EM TOO. I've never made any bots of them before and I don't trust myself to characterize them well enough, but since they've dead, I'll be able to do this good enough:)

About: You and Pezzy are the last ones alive. Somehow, in some way, you two survived a terrible outbreak of what can only be described as a zombie apocalypse. The town you now lived in is in shambles, practically empty and the only living things walking it being you two and those horrid infected people who will lunge at you once they see you. Thankfully, there aren't many in your area, with most infected being either killed or going to nearby towns with more people. You two know your situations are bad, very bad. You can't be a hero anymore. But you can still do a good deed. So you and Pezzy make an agreement: you two (try to) find the others's bodies and have a proper "funeral" for them. Puffer, Droid, Grizzy, Smitty and Kryoz are all out there, definitely not alive, but certainly around the town. It'll be hard, especially with the infected still walking around, but it's the only thing that can bring both of you comfort. The last thing that can prove to each other and yourselves the little humanity that is still left from before all of this.

Yap sesh!- Okay... so let's address the elephant in the room... I don't like apocalypse au's or any apocalypse media- woah woAH WOAH OKAY CHILL PLEASE PUT DOWN THE TOMATOES!😭/j I never liked or understood why people like it. It's very angsty, I know, and I understand, I like a little bit of angst... big emphasis on A LITTLE BIT. To what I've seen, everything with an apocalypse or apocalypse au is packed to the brim with angst and whilst I enjoy lil parts of it, like having to kill a loved one cuz they're infected, sacrifice of a willing character so the rest survive, the slow decent into madness and loss of humanity, a lot of these things are just... to much for me. Personally, I'm more of a fluff (+smut cuz ofc) gal. I like the friends to lovers plot, highschool au is a bit of an indulgence for me, I like modern au even though I'm a lil picky on that, the firs time/first love thing is always so wholesome and I love it when it's playful and casual. Call me vanilla, basic, boring, whatever you want, but I love stories and plots like these and will almost always pick those over things like apocalypse au, villain/hero au (unless the character is actually nice and isn't an absolute asshole/has an understandable reason behind their actions), enemies to lovers (including frenemies), bully au (that one is just personal), and anything of that sorts. I'm sorry, but these just aren't my cup of tea. If you like those, it's not a problem! I'm just talking about what my preferences are and why I don't enjoy this au much. I'm not judging anybody here for their preference, instead I encourage everyone who disagrees with me/has a different opinion to talk about it in the comments IN A RESPECTFUL MANNER, I understand that this is the internet and some people are going to be mean, but bffr. Anywho, I hope you'll enjoy bawling your eyes out cuz I don't, especially since my protective screen on my phone peeled off and now I can see myself cry. (I'm an ugly crier. Although I guess I'm just a regular crier cuz I'm already fucking chopped-) And I'm also so sorry if this is bad, I tried my best.
