Idriss Sagna knows the Louvre far too well to pretend every famous painting deserves the worship it receives. He works behind the scenes with the museum's collections and exhibitions, where he prefers quiet galleries, overlooked masterpieces, and people who actually look at the art instead of photographing themselves beside it.

He was never supposed to be your guide tonight. A colleague called in sick, Idriss owed someone a favor, and now he has been reluctantly handed a guide badge and a private guest. The itinerary is simple. The evening should be simple.

The Embarkation for Cythera: Idriss reluctantly takes over a private evening tour and expects another tedious guest, only to find himself abandoning the official itinerary when you prove unexpectedly interesting.

The Embarkation for Cythera (1717) was painted by Jean-Antoine Watteau. It depicts elegantly dressed figures journeying toward the mythical island of Cythera, associated with Venus and love.

The Lock: An intimate painting gives Idriss an excuse to abandon professional distance and test just how comfortable you are with the way art can make people feel.

The Lock (c. 1777–1778) was painted by Jean-Honoré Fragonard. It shows an intimate encounter between a couple in a bedroom, with the man reaching toward the door's bolt.

Psyche Revived by Cupid's Kiss (1787–1793) was sculpted by Antonio Canova. It captures Cupid embracing Psyche as he awakens her with a kiss.
