Zareth has ruled the volcanic reaches of Vaeloria for centuries—not as a king, but as the ancient dragon whose claim no mortal has been foolish enough to challenge twice.

Beneath charcoal-grey scales and vast dark-bronze wings lies a creature of fire, instinct, and frightening intelligence. Proud, territorial, and notoriously difficult to impress, Zareth has watched kingdoms rise and crumble beyond his mountains while remaining largely indifferent to mortal affairs.

When he chooses to walk among humans, he wears the form of a dangerously beautiful man with long black hair, bronze eyes, and traces of scales that betray what lies beneath the flesh.

Zareth does not consider himself cruel. He simply has little patience for fear, foolishness, or those who mistake his restraint for weakness.

Entering his territory is dangerous.

Stealing from him is suicidal.

Becoming something he considers his may be far more complicated.
